I hereby declare that I can't stay put at home, plus I really need some fresh air to clear my super bad mood..
So met up with cookie on Friday, accompanied her to NATAS Fair as she need get some work done followed by some shopping.. There was nothing much to see and buy thou.. So guess what these two lonely hearts did?? Play NDS to kill boredom and de-stress!! Wahahaha!! Bought some food and drinks and settled down at mac for a game.. The Sims2 is really addictive can!! I can't believe we can discuss things out of work.. Mel please get one soon so we can play versus together!!
Went back to the ex-company to collect my claims and shun bian had my dinner there with FC (we played somemore NDS at mao mao while waiting for her).. I saw the GM who gave me the biggest hug ever.. Am happy to see her but she looked really tired.. Poor baby, guess there will be more shit coming up for her to clear.. Anyway, I'm happy for FC who finally made a very important decision.. Not gonna disclose anything here coz (once again) some pple might read my blog..
More shopping with cookie and Mel on Saturday.. It felt so good to spent money when one is feeling down.. Pampered myself with a top, a bottom and the bird shit namecard holder.. I'm freaking broke now already lar!! Had dinner at Newton, it's been really long since my last visit there.. The three gluttons had satay, stingray, sambal kangkong, fried baby squids, chix wings, oyster omelette and not forgetting big big cup of sugarcanes!! Wah lau, why did we eat that much!! *burp*

Like what Wenn said, I will be enjoying two weeks of HDB tai tai life before the start of my new job..
Totally love the feeling of sleeping in late.. Suddenly my Monday isn't that black anymore.. Wahahaha!! Had my nails nicely done up for Wednesday's function.. Was totally hooked on NDS and didn't bothered to chat with the girls online.. Opps, I'm sorry!!
Met up Wenn and Mel for lunch at Sakae followed by some shopping.. Bought another pair of shoes again lar!! I'm beginning to think if I have fetish of shoes.. But it looks really nice on my feet mah.. Wahahahaha!!
The only flaw staying at home is to hear my mum's constant nagging.. I don't understand why mums LOVE to heckle so much!!

Woo hoo!! Last day of work at NOC!!
It's been a really long and dragful period after my resignation.. The chosen ones treated me as if I have a glass diet and the feeling sucks big time can.. Thank god I only need to serve a two weeks notice!!
I will definately miss those kind pple who had helped me along thru my stint here.. As for the rest, I don't have the intention to keep in touch so goodbye!!

Wow!! I din noe preparing handover can be so tedious.. Did my handover list, finalized all details for the upcoming groups in March/April (must do everything swee swee for clients before I leave), another round of housekeeping and sent goodbye emails to clients.. Wah lau eh!! My phone and mobile kept ringing in the afternoon.. The usual questions like why you leaving, why didn't you tell me earlier, where are you going?? Yada yada yada.. I can't recall the number of times explaining the same things over again and again..
Most of them actually screwed me for informing them so late coz they wanted to buy me a meal or drinks as farewell before I leave.. Bajan said he so wanna come to my office and kick me in the butt, and Angela said that she will stop using us if I'm not the one servicing their company!! Damn gam dong ok!! The time and effort which I have put in for the past one year is definately not wasted.. And Cindy was right, it's really sad to say goodbye to them..

Good news!!
My management had decided to release me early!! Meaning that my last day of work here will be 16 March 2007.. Woo Hoo!!
But thanks to them, I can't start work earlier at my new place as they need THIS LONG to make the decision.. So Ivy will have to rot till April.. Need to start planning my 'to do list' for the next two weeks.. It will be a good time to go for a short holiday, but the boyfriend (as usual) is unable to take leave due to the hectic work schedule.. Cindy and Mel will be starting their new job next week, there goes my mahjong kakis!! SJ and Kel won't be in town to entertain me and the rest also need to work lor..
Anybody wanna take leave to accompany me for shopping??

Feeling very lethargic coz I din slp well last night.. *yawnz*
Was worried about Kobi, that fellow is down with diarrhea for the past few days and I have no idea what is wrong with him.. Why dogs can't talk?? Sigh!!
Had this super duper weird nightmare about sadako!! The ghost didn't climb out from the tv in my dream, she came out from the mirror lar!! Woke up a few times feeling super creepy but funny thing was, I am still able to continue my nightmare when I fell asleep again!! Wah lau, just how bad was that!!
Not in the mood to do anything today coz I din fulfill my eight hours of sleep!!

I found a hole on my stockings the other day while wearing it, must be Kobi!!
My dog was extremely quiet last evening (normally he will follow me wherever I go) and my sixth sense tells me something was wrong.. So I walked to my room and found him chewing on my brand new pair of stockings!!
I seriously don't understand why my dogs like to chew on shoes, stockings/socks and even bras!! Wah lau eh!!

Had my first farewell lunch with Janet today.. Very sweet of her to buy me chocolates from Teuscher.. Even had a sudden urge to cry when she held my hand and said 'take care' before leaving..

I seriously can't think of anything other than ice milo for breakfast..
Lewis highlighted that if one ice milo cost S$1.20 (from the coffee shop near my office), I am actually spending S$24.00 per month on the drink.. Wah lau eh!! It's freaking expensive lor.. Why didn't I think of that??
Was on MC yesterday again, thanks to my itchy mouth.. I shouldn't take cold drinks and fried stuff but then, cannot control lar!! My cough ain't getting better after finishing the course of medication, thus I went back to see Dr. 'forgot his name' for more medication..
Despite Mr Loo's warning of the damn bo hua cost and SJ's CANNOT DRINK MILO in his email, I still bought my favourite drink this morning.. Really can't think of anything else for breakfast lar.. Or rather, I'm just plain lazy to function my brain.. =P

One thing I will definately miss when I leave is hanging out with my dear colleagues at mao mao a.k.a Harrys.. We were there as usual for drinks after work and started discussing about Mel and her 5 years fishy plan with her partner.. Yes Melissa, we were gossiping behind your back!! Wahahaha!!
HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH TO MAINTAIN A HOUSEHOLD
Cookie and me have the same kind of mind-set, whatever I earned is my OWN money.. Husband's earnings are to cover for both himself and the family.. Ivy's ambition is to be a receptionist, it may sound silly to some pple but I don't plan things without using my brain juice one lor.. I'm not the kinda person who will enjoy tai-tai life and please, I'm not going to stay at home and look after the kids lor.. I want a simple, no stress job to earn some extra pocket money for myself.. So receptionist seems to be the best future job for aspiring tai-tai like me!!
Alright back to the topic.. SL's hubby is earning about 4.5k and she plans to stay at home to be a full time mummy for awhile (they have a flat and a baby, no car).. It's enough to maintain the household expenses but they now have to think twice before splurging on something.. FC's ideal household income will be about 8K (which consist of a child, a flat/condo and car).. But come on lar, how to find a man in Singapore that earns this much??
Let's be realistic, I personally think 6K would be enough for a family.. I see no point having a car (unless I'm very rich) when is so convenient to move around in Singapore.. But at my age, finding someone who earns 4K is already very difficult.. Looking around pple in their mid twenties, guys may be earning at most 3K only lor.. FYI, I have yet to find anyone my age earning this amount..
Morale of the story - Find a (much) older man!!

Guess Cindy was right afterall.. When you are lucky on other matters, you will be down on love..
When I heard that the boyfriend was sick the other day, I rushed down to his house immediately to see if he was alright, skipping my dinner and spent a bomb on taxi.. And when it was my turn to fall sick, the boyfriend rather spend time doing his gaming research and totally forgotten that his girlfriend was waiting for him to buy her lunch.. And kudos to him, I had nothing until dinner yesterday.. He din even asked if I had medication or did I eat or not.. He claimed that he had more important things to do - gaming research..
I thot he would spend some quality time with me today since he will be away for the whole of next week.. But he chose to visit his fren's house instead.. And as usual, there was no concern from him at all..

MC on a saturday, well done!! Those bitches must be enjoying good food now while I'm stucked with yucky medication!! But at least, I had a good rest..
Anyway I told GM my plans yesterday, despite her encouraging words during the session with us.. I told her that I need a crazy boss that will drive me up to the wall, that is the motivation that keeps me going.. I don't need a bimbo (of course I din tell her that) who don't even noe how to management her team.. GM looked really disappointed and I do feel for her.. Imagine the shit you have to clear as a newbie in the company when obviously it's not your fault.. As usual she ask me to re-consider but well, I can't let go this coming golden opportunity.. So yah, I shall break the news to bimbo boss on Monday!!
Cindy's wish had come true!! Mass resignation!! And we will be having our mass farewell party next week.. It's time to celebrate and get drunk!! Woo hoo!!
