Hoo Hoo!! Received sum good feedbacks for my first baking attempt!!
1 of mummy's colleague who is a baking expert said that my cookies were not bad, the almond tasted just nice.. But I shouldn't mix the dough for too long coz the after effect will make the cookies hard rather the crunchy..
Sis's classmates gobbled down every single piece of the cookies and said it's good!! But my sly sister told them that she made the cookies herself!! Okie lar, she did helped abit by helping me to buy the baking sheets downstairs.. Der~
By the time I reached hm yday, there's only 1/4 cookies left in the jar.. For once my family are so supportive to the tinks that I've cooked which made so so happy!! Finally somebody appreciated my cooking!! Gonna bake summore for myself, my grandparents, anuties and uncles just in time for CNY..
Definately I won't forget u guys de.. If you dare to try that is.. Hehe..

Shall share my very first baking attempt with you guys..
Finally bought my oven which costed me a whooping $228 coz it was 'cool wall' structured.. Advantage is that outside of the oven won't be very hot while baking.. Had always wanted to make yummy CNY goodies, had since mastered *prawn roll* so the next item would be *almond cookies*..
It was kinda rush esp when CNY is coming soon.. I want to make nice yummy cookies for my guests when they come over to visit during the festive season mah.. Bought a Kenwood hand mixer @ $45 but it doesn't come with a mixer bowl and spreader!! Had to go NTUC to search for the bowl and other necessary materials and ingredients for my cookies.. Spent almost $40 which makes my heart ached a little..
Realised that the bowl I bought is not tall enough and the flour started to 'fly' out when I tried to mix it with the mixer.. In the end, I have to pluck out the kneaders from the mixer to hand stir the dough.. Waste $$.. Another discovery, the recipe mentioned to use 'X cups' of flours but did not state wat type of 'cups' to use!! The sizes of measuring cups in NTUC varies and I have no idea which 'cup' to buy.. In the end I bought the most ex one which costed $7 but I din get to use it.. I used my drinking mug instead.. "-_-
I tink the measurements were not accurate which makes my cookies smelled and tasted more like butter rather then almond cookies.. I din get to slp until 1am this morning.. Eyes were like panda when I came to work today..
Gave most of the cookies to my mum and sis for them to distribute to frens to try try.. Both of them liked the taste which maked me so so happy!! I'm starting to enjoy baking now le!! Gonna amend my recipe and try again on Sunday.. hehe..

I'm so tired..
Tired of working in this lousy company.
Tired of slogging like hell but hard work is not appreciated.
Tired of the miserable pay that I'm getting. No bonus no increment no NOTINK!!
Tired of having a boss who always nags and nags.
Tired that I've tried so hard to please my parents but they dun seem to appreciate my effort. (Gave them $100 each for CNY clothes, not even a 'thank you' as they tink it's my responsibility to give them $$)
Tired of worrying about if they have enuff to spend.
Tired to know that other pple have great supportive *rich* parents compared to mine.
Tired of putting on a smile wherever I go although I'm so unhappy with my life.
Tired of envying pple but I got notink to be proud of.
Tired tat I dun have a choice but to stick to this lousy life.
I'm feeling so miserable.. Sigh~

My dear bro JH was recently out of love.. Had always thaw that this couple will have a happy ending but sadly tinks had ended up in the wrong way..
JH parents were super traditional pple.. They wan their only son to marry sumore who is *门当户对* to their family.. His GF was a malay and therfore both families had some objections to their relationships, esp JH's family.. It's not easy for the couple but they had always managed to go through those rough patches and looked so loving and envies everyone whenever we met up..
However, guess both parties were tired after so many battles and eventually the girl decided that it will be better if both remain frens..
Of coz.. My bro is very heartbroken and lost now.. But the only tink he can do is to WAIT.. WAIT for the girl to cool down and talk tinks out.. WAIT for the right time to pursue his parents to accept their relationship and give them blessings.. WAIT for the chance to love her again..
Sometime I wonder, different sex can get married, different religions can get married, lesbians and gays can get married, even ghost and human can get married..
What's wrong with couples with different skins?!

For once, I’m happy to come to work.. Boss is out for meeting and won’t be around the whole of today.. no nagging + no scolding = peace & quiet!! Woo Hoo!!
Can’t wait for the coming long weekend (I’m off on sat).. Gonna go Chinatown with my family for CNY goodies.. More shopping for mummy & me coz we had yet to settle with our CNY clothes.. Hope she won’t eye on sumtink expensive if not I will be super broke!!
My darling is finally back from his week-long mission but had fallen sick again.. Poor tink.. I can imagine how cold it is in the forest at nite.. *shivers* So I’ve promised him that I will cook up a ~storm~ with my newly found recipes and pamper him with lotsa food!!
Had decided to save myself from misery and fill my tummy with lotsa food for the coming CNY.. Won’t it be a torture if you can see, smell and drool but can’t eat the goodies?? But of coz it will be hardwork after that.. Gonna really start exercising to get rid of all fats gained during these festive seasons.. Dun care le, enjoy now first lar..
Oh, I’m buying my oven and will start baking real soon.. No chessecake for me thou.. *hehe*
Hope this upcoming weekend will be a fulfilling one..

Had some thoughts after reading Linda's bloggy.. I will be the luckiest girl in the world if I can find someone so understanding..
Was shopping for my oven with E on sunday.. Pop by Watson's and decided to buy some tibits and facial wash since I've used up mine le.. The Q was so damn long and I was getting abit impatient le.. Finally it was my turn and I walked over to the counter, the girl told me 'counter 1 please' pointing to the next counter.. Fine, I walked to the next counter when this bloody bitch cut my Q and squeeze rite in front of me!! Just when I turned back to counter 2, another bloody bitch managed to squeeze thru and got in front of me.. Yes!! Again!!
You can imagine how angry I was and I turned to E who was behind me and shouted 'This is
ridicules!!' I mean how could I be so suay to let some bitches cut my Q not once but twice!! And the worst part is instead of saying sumtink to console me, this bloody arsehole BF of mine turn his head away as if he duno me at all!! His action makes me so damn embarrass and all the salesgirls looked at me as thou I'm some crazy arse shouting to the sky!!
Sigh.. So much for being 'understanding'..

Gained weight and looked extremely ugly with my big big tummy boutching out of those hipster jeans/minis!! I can't wear spag top as my arms can be compared to pig's trotters..
My dream of wearing a cheong sum for CNY is banished man..

Apparently, this blogger was given the sack when his boss found out that he had been bad-mouthing the co. in his blog.
He described his boss as a ^Devil Head^ and his co. a place like ^Hell^ (or sumtink like tat).
Moral of the story: Make sure that your boss never sees your blog!! *fingers crossed*

Mummy left us for shopping in KL!! Felt really weird that she's going on a trip w/o us.. Thou its's only for a day but I packed alot of tibits for her yday to make sure that she won't go hungry on her way.. She was like 'I'm only going for a day lar.. not 逃难 leh..'

Anyway, I'm back @ work on this cosy saturday.. Soooo sleepy.. Can't wait to go for my CNY shopping spree later.. Guess that tired pig is still snoring away now.. ZZZzzzzz

I'm soooooo proud of myself.. Had once again conquered the nasty reports all by myself!! Finally can take a short breather off work le.. Phew~
Can't wait for Siew Mei's return man.. 6 more weeks and I can kiss goodbye from those *never ending figures*.. Had found a new way to destress: buying tibits!! My new nickname in office is 'Miss Santa Clause' as I always practise the *sharing fats* system.. Watever tibits I have, my colleagues will have a share too.. Now they were all blaming me for making them fat le.. :P
CNY is around the corner.. Too bad I can't take leave if not it will be another long weekend le.. Linda is making me jealous here!!

家家有本难念的经。。
I believed every household have their own problems esp when it comes to $$ issues.. I am no exception.. My dad was considered 'half' the boss working as a Sub-contractor in his company.. Everyone thaw we were 'rich' as we can afford to change car every 5yrs.. But nobody knows abt our financial status.. We were stucked in huge debts, thanks to my 'good for notink' uncle who B.O.M.B my dad's credit cards.. His not paying up, so as the main card holder my dad got to clear all his shits.. Construction industry is going downhill and my dad's income is only half of wat he used to earn.. Household expenses however is going higher and his paycheck always came late.. I'm glad that I'm working now and can help to share some of their burden.. I believed that every problem can be solved as long as ur family stays united.. However, the following case really broke my heart..
His grandma's health had been deteriorating.. Had suffer 2 falls within 3 mths and is getting weaker everyday.. Her family had decided to hire a maid to take care of her since all of them are working and nobody will be at hm during the day.. Grandma has 3 children, the eldest daughter has abit of mental problem and can't contribute much while the 2nd daughter married a rich man and was well to do.. His father is the youngest and had been taking care of grandma all this while.. However, their financial is not strong enough to cover the expenses of the maid.. So they decided to seek help from the 2nd daughter.. Instead of helping, the 2nd daughter accused his younger brother of trying to 'sallow' the fortune of grandma.. She even cohoot with a family friend to bad mouth her own brother!! Worst still, she demand her mother to sell the house, give her all the fortune and leave notink for the brother when she passes on!!
I always thaw that such cases of 'snatching fortune' only appeared in drama serials but it's now happening in real life.. I was totally disappointed with the 2nd daughter.. Instead of contributing, she gave me the impression that she's forcing her mum to die so that she can have all the $$.. I can't believe this kind of useless pple really exists!! You can imagine how scared and pressured poor grandma is feeling and how sad and disappointed the whole family is now.. This is so called 'Family', shifting responsibilities when problems arises..
Anyway, I believe in retribution.. What goes around will definitely comes around..
