I was browsing through a forum in HWZ and came across this topic.. Most of the pple tink its very hard for both sexes to maintain a pure relationship, especially when opposite attracts.. I thaw it was quite impossible to as feelings of human are really beyond control..
Guess all of you guys shld knw that I have 3 good frens from AES whom I call them brothers.. Thou they dun treat me like a girl but everytime when we go out I will definately have princess treatment.. Esp GWL coz his the most gentlemen among them and not forgotting Enrique who pays the bill most of the time.. As for JH ah.. He treats his GF much beta then he treat me ba.. *haha* There is only pure friendship within us coz they tink that I'm not feminine enuff to be their match ba..
Of coz I won't forget to mention my brudder CJX yah (if not he will kill me).. We clicked almost immediately when we met during Sec 3 and had maintained a true friendship from there.. I'm his love counselor and his my listening ears.. We were so close until the extends that even my mum knows who 2845 is le.. *haha* Definately there were ups and downs in our friendship (we just had a fight recently) but I will still treasure him as my good brudder no matter wat happens de.. *touchy*
Last but not least, my darlings Ah Siao and Kelvin from poly.. Kel is the first guy who heard n saw me cry when I got ditched back in poly days.. He was really supportive and even lend me a shoulder to cry on.. We were so close to the extend that pple in class used to tink that we were dating.. Well, guess we were fated to be frens as there will never be sparks between us.. Ah siao a.k.a my cameraman.. His a really good fren who can really nags alot.. "Wat r u doing? Where u going? With who?" Sumtimes I tink he can nag at me more then my mum.. Well, this is his concern towards me ba.. *haha*
Can there be pure friendship between a guy and a girl? Its always possible isn't it? :)

Gathering on Saturday~
Had a mini gathering at Sobb's plc in the evening. It was supposed to be a pizza party but we ended up eating Sobb's hubby's ^ba ku teh^ instead. It was really great thou!! I helped Sobb in the kitchen preparing the long-waited fondue chocolate sauce, we were so happy that the sauce turned out to be surperb!! Imagine Hagen-daz sells a pot with fruits at $15 per pax but u can actually use this $$ to make a big big pot for 10pax with fruits as well. Anyway the fondue was really really great (not too sweet but tastes good) and I can't wait to show my skills for my chocoholic frens to try!! We really had a great time chatting, watching Sobb's wedding on tape , laughing all the way. I will really miss this bunch of colleagues when they left the Hotel.
Yanwei's wedding on Sunday~
Our long-waited wedding of the year. This cousin whom I've known all my life is getting married!! Games we played n how we tricked our parents and taunt school in our younger days were still fresh in my mind. All this seems like yesterday and you can imagine how I feel when I saw her in her wedding gown. Anyway, I'm really happy that she will be spending the rest of her life with the one she loved and of coz her husband is really nice to her thou his abit *Beng*..
Speaking of *Beng*, I'm so pissed off with the groom's ^brothers^ whom were so un-gentlemen throughout the morning ceremony. The bride's ^sisters^ were guarding the gate and while we are still negotiating the *ang bao* price, they just crushed the gate n rushed in!! One of them actually stepped on my little toe so hard that it bleeds. *sob sob* Tink they thaw they were going to those *gang fights* thats y they were really rough on us.. Once a *Beng*, always a *Beng*!!
I'm so tired after the morning session. Went home, bath, go salon for my hair n went straight to the Hotel. I'm so happy when my relatives said that I'm really pretty. *haha* But this might means that I'm super ugly when I'm young!!
I have the honour to be one of the two emcess during the dinner. I was really really nervous and you guessed it, I made a fool out of myself again!! My speech was okie during the cake cutting session but went *ga-bra* during the champage pouring session. I said "Let's welcome the newly-weds for the cake cutting instead of champage pouring ceremony"!! U can imagine how *snook* everybody looked.. *haha* At the end of the dinner, pple remember me as the @sotong@ emcee. I had so much fun and it was definately one of the most memorable monemts for me. So anyone interested or should I say DARE to engage me as emcees for their wedding dinners let me know yah.
Lastly, I got tonnes of relatives asking me when am I getting married. They were like "Yanwei is younger and she's married already, so when is your turn?" My god..
To all Aunties and Uncles, I love to get married too but the time is not ripe yet. I'm still young and wants to concentrate on my career first. No $$ No Honey!!

Saw Miss Koh (AES Eng Teacher) on Friday at Scotts Isetan while q-ing up for my 'tu tu kuah'.. Chatted for awhile n she told me that she's pregnent!! Finally after abt 3yrs of marriage, she decided to settle down le.. I used to ask her when she is going to have baby n now I tink I got to come out with a new qn to ask when I see her next time le.. Muahahaha.. Anyway we joked that her baby really comes in time for the bonus!! Wish Miss Koh all the best~
It was facial time on Sat after work.. Thru Claire's recommandation, I went to this salon at Far East Plaza. I'm already mentally prepared that I will look horrible and red after facial so I've cancelled all the outings on that day. But I'm really surprised that my face was clear (and glowing) after all the squeezing of pimples!! My new beautician Elaine was really good!! I tink I'm not going to change salon liao.. Going to be loyal this time round le..
Now I know wat is 'Heaven'.. Its been so long since I had fast food coz of my stupid diet.. I felt so good after all those good food that I've eaten this weekend.. Had been eating non-stop.. Mooncakes, chocolates, chips, ice cream, Mos Burger, Old Chang Kee.. YUMYUM!! I dun hv any regret munching on all the ^sins^ thou I'm afraid to stand on top of my weighing machine last night.. I wonder how many KGs I've gained.. But who cares!! I'm happy can le.. :p

I'm totally broke!! Thou it's only less than 2 weeks since my pay day.. I have to shift my plans on buying a PC n Digital cam till god knows when le.. sign~
From my 'agar-ration', I've spent at least $400 on my friend's birthday presents (Jan till Aug). Especially on those who celebrated their 21st b'day. Now I freak out the moment I hear 'Birthday inviation'!! *haha* It make me sounded as if I'm really bad but if you were like me who is earning peanuts, you will avoid birthday parties as well..
My cousin, Yanwei is getting married next week. Thaw of getting a cocktail dress to wear but realised that it will be rather wasteful to buy a dress which I don't always gets to wear. In the end, I borrowed a ~not so formal~ looking dress. Now I just need to get some accessories n cosmetics hoping to make myself outstanding on that day. This will cost me only abt $100 instead of my previous budget of $300. *yipee*
Mooncake festival is here again. I need to buy more 'presentable' mooncakes for my family as I've stepped into the working world le. No more ^East Ocean^ or ^Bangawan Solo^ mooncakes (thou they tasted really good). Linda recommanded mooncakes from Crown Prince Hotel and I've ordered 2 boxes to try out first. Not forgetting the mooncakes from my Hotel which I hv no idea how it taste like. There goes $100 again~
Currently I have 4 birthday invitations. Went to Mingbao's party last sat but will be skipping Ben's party on this sat and Anna's on next sat. Bro GWL will be celebrating his on next sat and I definately will be going. So I hope I won't be receiving anymore inviatations for this month coz I'm super broke le.. *hehe*
Tink I hv to be damn *cheapo* this mth le.. So many bills n debts, so little money to spend..

I had a *once in a lifetime* experience with a Psychic yesterday.. Interesting!!
My colleague, Auntie know this Psychic (Kristyn) from UK through her friend. So Auntie asked if we were interested to let her tell our fortune. Out of curiosity, I went along with the rest as well.. Vione & I purposely took half day off to visit her at the Hotel she was staying.. I was the first to go and u can imagine how nervous I was to face sumone who can read exactly wat's on ur mind.. ~scary~
Anyway, Kristyn & her husband were really friendly people. They greeted us with a smile & showed us to our seat. There were tarot cards as well as a crystal ball on the table. Shortly after some introduction, she begin to tell my fortune.. Her amazing readings as per follows:
^Family^
* My looks & personality were exactly the same as my mum
* As my mum looks young, pple tends to mistake us as sisters
* My dad is self-employed & is a workaholic
* Has a younger sister who is very lazy now but she will grows up to be more hardworking & will eventually gets a Degree!!
* Mum & Dad will be in good health. Mum will go slightly "bonkers" in her mid 60s, dad will have some eyesight problems. Both will have a long life & they won't be a burden.

* Had a failed relationship with 'water sign' (John), as water puts off fire.

You guys can imagine how surprised I looked when Kristyn tells my fortune. I had alot of questions in my mind and seems like she can really read my mind. All my questions were answered and I don't even need to open my mouth & ask!! I'm not sure how true her predicts for my future will be. But her reading of my present life is god darn accurate!! I do hope someday I will be successful in life and of coz have a happy marriage. So we shall see how true the cards & crystal ball tells.. :)
