Remember I wrote abt "Black-faced" Diane on Monday? Got the lastest news that she had tendered her resignation letter just now n her last day will be tml!! Must share with u guys what happened @ work these few days..

1. "Black-faced Diane"
After wat our Drama Queen did on Monday, my boss was so pissed that he sent 2 warning letters to her. He can actually dismiss Diane on the spot but this will blacklisted her in this industry, so he made all of us *hint* her to make her resign herself. So I decided to sound her out thru MSN. She was looking for jobs n was very 'kan cheong' when most of the jobs she had applied did not get back to her. As a previous Recruitment Consultant, I gave her tips on writing a *appealing* resume to attract more attention. Instead of appreciating my help, she told me this "Are you trying to get rid of me like the rest of them?". 好人难做~~
Anyway, she had since found a job n had tender her resignation letter just now.. So wish her all the best le wor (finger crossed that she won't screw things up again)..

2. Pervert Alert!!
Boss called me into his office on Tuesday and told me to be more careful.. Here's why.. The Hotel rent out an office space to another company. So the boss of that company whom I shall nickname him Leslie the "pervert" told my boss that his new girl (which is me) has nice legs.. According to boss, he got a list of *prevert* history: Asked a female in-house guest out for a date during her stay, commented that the sales managers here were pretty, won't even let off the Siew Mei who is pregnant, etc etc.. So my boss warned me to be more careful with this guy. I have never seen him b4 n you can imagine how shocked I am when pple tell me this. I finally saw Leslie the "prevert" at the lift lobby with 1 of his handsome employee this morning and immediately felt like puking when he smiled at me! Thou its the 1st time that I seen him in person but I can immediately recongnise that his that "prevert" on the spot!! He got curly hair, a mole on his chin and his smile.. *puke* Anyway he asked for my name and I was like 'errrr.... Ivy' and run straight for the lift.. ~phew~ Hummp!! Got to stay 10 miles away from this guy le.. *puke again*

3. Just for Laughs
Forwarded an email to my colleagues on pictures of a resort in Pulau Redang. This is wat my Marcom Manager, Alex aka "The Mountain Turtle" repiled me~
"I thought redang was some curry dish. this must be the place where the natives spotted neptune, king of the sea, a few years back. It’s “dirty”... Notice you don’t see any people in all the pictures?"

Had a really bad start of the day. I was still sore about the movie incident, esp when stupid Enrique keep bragging about how good the show is.. Hummp! My PC was giving me prob and I can't get my job done. Worst, "Black-faced" Diane came in so late and her face was #&$*@! as usual. But my mood got beta after lunch coz the new cook gave me alot of food to eat!!
*yum yum*

Realised that 3 of my guy friends had actually changed quite abit since we left school and also make me 另眼相看..

Jeremy aka 好好先生~
Chated with him (who was in US enjoying life now) for the whole afternoon. I'm so envy and this time must die die save up and fly there to visit him le.. He was someone who always *act cool* and proud. Actually I hated him in school, esp when he say "No need to study one lar. I close my eyes oso can pass!" But this guy made my changed my views in him when I get to know him better after these years.. His actually a friendly guy who had dreams and aims for his future.. Wat actually surprised me was that he loves children *shocked*!! He wants to settle down early n have 3 kids (1 girl, 1 boy and the last one girl/boy oso can).. Tink his quite a good catch now.. *hiak hiak*

Enrique aka 花痴~
This brother of mine was recently ditched by his gf of 3mths.. He was still pinning high hopes even when the girl had a change of heart.. He made sweet little things for her, bought all the tinks that she fancy (which is y he was so broke now) and waited for her rain or shine.. Had never seen him so serious in a relationship before (he treats girls like clothes and always changes gf like nobody business).. He was really upset and even cried for the girl.. I was really *shocked* to see him in this state and all I can do as a friend is to accompany him through this rough patch and hopes tinks will goes well..

Ziyi aka 读书郎~
Me & Enrique went to Lot1 for kopi session with Winnie & Ziyi.. Ziyi was actually sick but still make the effort to come down to chit chat with us.. I just found out that he was enrolled to a Degree course in NTU!! Didn't realise that this guy was so S.M.A.R.T after knowing him for so many donkey years!! Always thaw he was those kind of guys who only know how to *chase skirts* and talk rubbish.. Then he started to tell us abt his plans and even encouraged me to presue my studies.. And seems like Winnie finally found someone that had plans for the future and doted her.. Things are looking good for them.. :)

Before I go to my weekend update, I'm going to share my dramatic Monday with all of you guys.. I shall titled my drama:

~Monday Blues~

Episode 1:
I have a colleague, whom I nick-named her "black-faced" Diane (coz she always comes into the office with a pissed off face).. A nice person in whole but she's someone who can hide her facial expression and her bad temper.. For example, she can scream on the phone in the office when she argued with her husband to be and somehow she don't have enough respect to the colleagues in other departments coz she will not give face n gv them a dressing down if they r wrong (she's a Assistant Sales Manager nia).. So this is wat happened yesterday.. We got our pay-slips n most of them found out that their pay was deducted.. Naturally, everybody was pissed off but they tried to seek help from boss.. But for Diane, she went straight down to the Finance dept and make a scene yelling to the Accountant aka "the controller"!! My boss was pissed off when the Finance dept complained to him and he had a talk with her.. We were all in the office for a demo on our new photocopier and soon we heard screaming n shouting from Boss's office!! Even the trainer was abit pai seh coz it was so loud that we could not even hear what she was saying.. Haiz.. In the end, Diane came out sobbing, took her bag n left.. She returned n the afternoon and tendered her resignation letter.. I was abit affected by this whole issue.. Never in my life that I've seen this kinda of *office drama*.. My conclusion is~
忍一时风平浪静。。退一步海阔天空。。

Episode 2:
After a dramatic day @ work.. I was so happy when it's time to knock off.. Coz the situation in the whole dept was so tensed after that incident.. Just when I wan to off my PC, Mark send me a MSN message telling me that the 4 of them r going for Hui's B'day party on Sat (I'm the B'day Co-ordinator).. But he gave me alot of *buts* as they had sumtink on later in the evening so they need to go off early n might miss her cake cutting.. Anyway, Hui booked the buffet w/o adding them in and since they had yet get any present for her so I suggested that they shld go ahead with their prog n miss this party.. But Mark insisted that he wanted to go so I called Hui to inform her.. But we tink that they rather insincere abt the whole tink, so we decided that it might be better that they just skip the party and go on with their plan.. So I sms Gwo Chong to inform him that she's ok if they dun turn up, a call to wish her would be sweet enuff le.. But guess wat he replied? "We're leaving abt 9pm plus so if she wants to take photos she can cake her cake at that time mah" OMG!! This kind of insincere words came out from a guy that I respected most in that gang!! I was really pissed off that they actually wanted Hui to compromise them on the time of her cake cutting!! *pissed* But I really heck le.. Can't stand passing messages here n there.. So let all of them settle themselves ba.. But I'm really disappointed that that bunch of guys r still so childish and insensitive after so many years.. Tink they are only suitable to date young innocent girls..

Episode 3:
I was preparing to sleep after 2 dramatic incidents that happened today and guess wat? Another *downfall* came to me again!! Planned to watch 'Brotherhood' with Hui, Linda n KP on Tuesday (which is today) but last minute Linda sms me ask me if its ok to bring Meng along and mayb we can ask Shan along as well.. I'm really tired after the whole day and I know that Shan will be having classes today so I told Linda to go ahead with Meng and count me out.. It became dramatic again when KP decided that he will skip this movie and Linda decided not to let Meng go and even said she won't be going since I'm not there le.. I was really pissed off abt the whole issue.. I wan Hui enjoy her date with KP, and I dun wan to put Linda in a spot since Meng is sumtimes unreasonable.. So the best solution is to let them double date and I dun wan to be a gooseberry as well wat.. Finally all was solved and the 4 of them decided to watch together later in the evening.. I was pissed as well coz initially I was the one who asked them out for this movie but in the end I can't get to watch!! But wat to do.. I have no choice left.. {Anybody wanna watch *Brotherhood* or *I-robot* let me know hor.. Looking for kakis to watch movie..}

Alot of things are running through my mind and I have to agree with Winnie that life is always about making choices. We will spend all our lifetime deciding. For example: To go or not to go? To study or not to study? To work or not to work? To buy or not to buy? To love or not to love?

A very close friend is currently trapped in a love triangle. We're trying hard to solve her confusion but the biggest problem is she like both guys and no matter who she chooses to be with she will hurt sumone. I can understand how she feels now coz I've been thru it myself. Was trapped in a dilemma a few years ago. Similar situation not once but twice and I got to choose between 2 guys. I was really confused and I know that nobody can help me on this other then myself. In the end, I've made the choices which I did not regret.

In the first case, I've decided to give up on both, this will be fair to all the 3 of us. Thou we remained friends at first but had lost contact since. Guess it's really difficult to be friends after rejection surfaces.

In the second case, I've choose guy A instead of guy B. This time I guess I hurted guy B alot coz his really a very nice guy. Dated guy A for abt 1.5 years and it was filled with good memories. Definately I did not regret my choice as well.

Hmm.. I hope that this friend of mine can really sort tinks out and eventually comes out with a decision that she won't regret. 加油!!

Aching all over when I wake up this morning.. Why? Went to the boxercise class with shan last night. Hasn't been going for a few weeks le.. So tink my muscles are "rusty" again.. After yesterday's session, my conclusion is that I will stick to belly dancing le.. Boxercise is too "siong" for me to handle.. Imagine the insturctor tell us to do *diamond* push-up.. I got a feeling as if I'm in army at that point of time.. But I was suprised that most of them could do it, including shan.. Tink I really cannot make it lar.. *haha*

Let's go into my topic of the day.. I'm full of envy now.. Auntie Irine is enjoying herself in China now.. Jeremy is flying off this sat to US liao.. Lewis is going to KL/Genting/Malacca this weekend (he claimed that I'm more excited than he is when I give him tips on the places of interests).. Linda is going Thailand next weekend for her company rethreat.. Vione n Sobbina are planning to go Thailand for shopping next month and Eric is in Taiwan enjoying himself now!! Poor me.. Rotting in this little island all by myself.. *sob sob*

I miss travelling (even when I'm so afraid of taking planes).. Miss the view from KL Tower.. Miss the steel columns of Petronas.. Miss the unforgettable hike to Batu Cave.. Miss the claypot rice.. Miss the fishes in Tioman Island.. Miss the peaceful breeze of the sea.. Miss the food in Penang.. Aiyoh!! Said until so much but the furthest I've travelled is only to Malaysia.. *haha*

I want to go OVERSEAS!! I want to go Japan with Linda.. Go Thailand shopping with Vione n Sobbina.. Go Disneyland in US.. Hummp!! I want to get out of Singapore!! But........ I'm B.R.O.K.E :(

So I pinned all my wishes on these pple le.. Hopefully I will get something from Auntie Irine when she comes back tomorrow.. Jeremy will remember my shopping list for X'mas.. I wish that Linda will buy some goodies for me to makan.. Eric will definately buy tinks for me de (thick skinned)..

Okie.. Tink I got to come back to my senses le.. Working time!!

Raining.. Raining.. Raining..

Didn't manage to blog yesterday coz was rather busy @ work.. Got a good news to share with all of u guys.. After working for 2 mths, I've been confirmed yesterday!! Yeah!! Now can claim MC, dental, and not forgotting leaves!! Regarding salary increment, I've no idea but Boss did mentioned that he will increase de.. Hopefully I will get at least a $50 increment *Pray Hard*..

Yesterday is both Sis & Vione's B'day.. Ate 2 slices of cake and alooot of food *Fat Fat*.. Hope they will like the presents that I've bought :)

Was chatting with Jeremy yesterday.. His going to USA this saturday le *Gonna miss him*.. Planned to visit him (hopefully in half a year's time, need to save $$ le).. I'm so excited!! Gonna travel all the way to US.. Shopping.. Sightseeing.. Disneyland!! I'm gonna save save save!! Can't wait.. Linda mentioned that she planned to visit her cousin in Japan during summer next year.. Wow!! Japan!! I wanna go too!! Provided that I've enuff $$ to spend.. *hehe*

I'm so excited now le.. Got to work hard and save hard le.. No more over spending like this month.. *Kambate*

Weekend had ended.. Monday blues again.. *signz*

Saturday:

Went to sentosa.. Don't get me wrong pple.. If I'm going to suntan I will definately chio u guys.. But I went there for sightseeing instead.. Tink mainland is too much for us le so we decided to get some peace this weekend.. *hehe*

Went to these few locations:

1. Cable car (Captured a few of the good views on cam *will post on blog soon*)
2. Merlion (Still lame thou they just renovated the plc. Saw GWL & managed to get discount on the keychain that I've bought!! *haha*)
3. Monorail (Thaw we can sightsee the whole of sentosa but end up I fall asleep throughout the ride)
4. Underwater World / Pink Lagoon (The dolphines were adorable!! Fishes in the underwater world still looked the same, except bigger *waste $$*)
5. Musical Fountain (My fav so far.. Effects were good thou the storylines were more suitable for kids)
6. Sky Tower (View of Singapore Skyline.. Not bad but I still prefer the incredible views from KL Tower)

Not to mention, there's so many pple that day (esp. tourists from India & China).. Got pushed around by those *kiasu* China pple while borading the bus.. One of the fat obasan pushed me so hard that I fell and chipped my toenails.. ~pissed~

Sunday:

Went to watch "The Sisters" which was highly recommanded by Lewis aka Xiaozhu (He said it was so scary that he got fears taking the lift back home)..

Xiaozhu.. I will bring you to Lim Chu Kang for "training" if theres a chance!! It was not bad but not scary at all.. I nearly fall asleep in the theatre.. ~der~

I'm still sore bcoz of the *summon*.. Hummp!!

Went out with Eric for supper last night coz he suddenly got a craving for food *like a pregnant woman*.. We're too lazy to walk le so decided to drive again despite the "incident" last weekend (as long as I'm not the one drving can le).. So we happily makan @ the new 24hrs kopi shop and guess wat happened this time?!?! Kanna *Sum Man* of $50!! ~shit~

This time, we did not put a parking coupon coz we thaw we will only take a short while (wat a typical s'porean will do) but guess both of us were really sway (yes.. REALLY sway)!! I only got 1 comment: Govt is really *on the ball*.. You can trust that I will never ever buy a car after this 2 incidents le.. notink but TROUBLE.. ~shit~

My heart was aching.. Lost $25 for notink coz we will have to split the fine (fair & square).. Can't really sleep the whole nite tats y i got up so early today to NAG NAG NAG!!

A very cosy saturday morning.. But spolit my mood n I dun feel like slping (shld be slping like a log now since I'm off today).. ~shit~

Going to Sentosa later.. Hope it will brighten up my weekend.. *haiz*

A couple of tinks that actually freaks me out today..

Freaky No. 1

Today's weather was really funny.. One min the sun was still shining, the next min it was pouring!! Rain actually stopped @ abt 8am and was rather humid but when my bus reached Stevens Road.. yah.. you guessed it.. raining cats & dogs!! I was so pissed with opening my umbrella n keeping n opening it again.. *haha*

Freaky No.2

I've made a *BIG* mistake @ work today.. Don't want to explain further but felt really bad to let Sobbina (Senior Sales Manager) do the explaining to the guest on the mistake that I've made.. I'm really a careless person + sometimes I just do tinks blindly w/o checking.. From now I will open my eyes *big big* and make sure no more mistakes le!!

Freaky No. 3

Met hui n her friends (lets call them X & Y) for lunch just now.. Hui had a ~HUGE~ crush on X and she made use of this opportunity to let me 'scan' him (we always let each other to 'scan' potential bf to see our opinons).. The first tink when I saw X was to greet him with a huge smile (even when I'm super ugly today coz I din had make up on).. But guessed wat? I'm super turned off, heres why:

1. He showed a very weak smile n din even give me a firm handshake
2. His face was so *black* as if pple owe him $$
3. Throughout our lunch, he din even bothered to strike a conversation (the situation was so tensed, luckily we saw CJX & Kelvin Teo and managed to go over n chatted with them for awhile. Anyway, its CJX b'day today & I gave him a *BIG HUG*)

Y was a better guy, he looks cute and friendly (thou we din even tok) but too bad I'm not interested with guys who are attached.. I'm so glad when its time to go back.. I'm so pissed by his attitude that I can't be bothered with him as well.. I still like Clement (friendly+helpful+gentleman= nice chap).. So my conclusion of X? *FAILED*

But ultimately, it will be Hui's choice to be with him or not.. I will still support her till the end..

Wat a hectic morning!! The first tink in the morning when I stepped into office, there's already a stack of things to do and r all urgent.. Got to run up n down like a mad dog to pass docs to Boss.. Realised that I can actually do things fast *thick-skinned*, completed all my stuff by 10am *applause*.. So here I am, laming again *hiak*

I was reading Irene's blog yesterday evening and came across her *catfight* with Janice.. Realised that friendship is very fragile, it will breaks easily if not handled with care.. Although the bond might be very strong, but it will still break for even the smallest misunderstanding.. For Irene n Janice case, I tink somehow Janice had rather low self confident in herself (long story, dun really wan to explain) therefore she tends to be extremely sensative to the pple ard her.. Irene on the other hand, is very happy with her life and thus made Janice felt very inferior.. I'm really upset to hear that both of them let go this friendship of 10yrs bcoz of this small indifference..

I still remember I had a *catfight* with one of my best friend Hui.. We both fell in love with the same guy.. She was staying with me for a short period during sec 3 and seems like our lifestyles r completely different.. So there were alot of arguments n jealously around the house *catfights* Soon she moved away (can't stand me anymore) n we didn't tok for almost a year.. Realised that we were very childish and I decided to pick up my courage to tok to her on our graduation day.. I did not regret wat I did and I'm so proud to have her as my friend..

*LOVE U AH HUI*

If you're reading this Irene.. Pick up your courage to tok to her.. Tell her you really treasure this friendship n try to understand wat's she is going thru.. I dun wan this to be a regret for the rest of both of ur lifes.. Friends may come and go, but its YOU who chooses who to STAY.. Jia You!!

Notink much happened during b'fast duty today but *damn* I feel so tired.. Was talking to Auntie in the lobby and she told me that 1 of the Bellman is skiving.. Everybody including Mark (Asst Manager) are at the taxi stand waving for cabs but this particular Bellman is standing in the lobby yakking away with the Secrutiy Officer instead (both were malays).. Was toking to Vione & Siew Mei in the office, they were telling me tat Boss will never employ a malay no matter how good that person may be.. Racist? Actually come to tink of it, during my employment with BG, we were told not to consider malays for interviews as most were lazy (remember the Bellman & Secruity Officer?) & they got the highest rate to 'tuai' u.. My ex-boss hates them as well coz they r not commited n always fly him kites.. I would say both bosses r not Racist but they got bad experience with them tats all.. I admit I'm racist sumtimes coz I got ex-colleagues from coffeebean who do notink but tok tok tok!! Order comes in, they will *jia jia* act busy and u got to do all the things for them.. Its really IrRiTaTiNg!! But on the other hand, I do have malay friends who are extremely hardworking (eg. Sarizan aka GOD, Khairi & Zarinah back in AES).. So I would say Racist or not depends on who u meet.. :P

Alright.. I'm rotting for the day since I've done most of my stuff le.. *sianz* Anyway, I've got a new dessert to share with u guys.. Went to Taka Food Fair with Vione during lunch and we came across this stall selling *Apple Stiz* (Apple coated with choc).. I've been craving for it since I saw it on TV last week and we bought 1 back to share (costed $3 for an apple!!).. Thou rather ex but it was ~hEaVeN~!! The sweetness from both apple n choc blended so well & I totall fall in LOVE with this new dessert!! Tink I ate most of the apple (opps!! sorry Vione).. Boss saw my scraping the choc out of the container (dun wan to waste a single bit of choc) n commented that I looked disgusting *haha*.. Hmm.. The taste is still in my mouth *yum yum* :)

A very cosy morning.. As usual, I dragged myself to work and am alone in the office now (all went out for sales meeting le).. Had just read the sales briefing and saw sumtink that was interesting.. Here goes:

"2 of the in-house guests commented the wiring in the room was badly done. As the lighting in the room came on & off & TV turned on by itself."

Hmm.. Heard from my colleagues that this kind of incident happened quite often.. So was wondering if there's really a problem with the wiring, how come nobody repairs it? They won't overlooked the maintenance of the property as we need a very good image for the Hotel.. I wonder if its true that most of the Hotels in the world are haunted, esp when there's shows abt them.. Even Diane is afraid to do room inspection coz she's afraid of ghosts.. This is really a very good topic to ponder.. *Hee*

Today is my dearest bro Enrique's 21st B'day.. ~Happy 21st B'day blather~
Felt so guilty that I can't attend his party on sat but I know this guy will still have fun w/o me around.. :p

Realised that the 4 of us are drifting away from each other as years goes by.. Jia Hao is in Guards so his always on 'High Alert' and can't really meet up much (ORD soon le).. Wei Liang thou need not serve NS but his serving his GF 24/7.. *haha* Used to meet up with Enrique quite often but now tat I'm working and his still stuck in school (bro please buck up), we seldom meet le.. But his a really nice friend, always make the effort to call me and tok rubbish once in a while (not to forget JH & GWL).. I love these bros of mine!! *miss ya too*

Okie.. Got to work liao.. Dun want to get *buttered* by boss.. *hehe*

I have 2 tinks to conclude for the weekend:

1. Never buy a car [notink but trouble]

Went to watch spidy 2 (lame show)with Eric @ Great World City on sat nite (our 1st movie after the big *break*). It was already past midnight after the show and both of us were really half dead and we were so happy to go home. Tink both of us were really super *sway* coz the car just died w/o any warning. I wanted to cry when I saw all the cars moved out one by one and we were still stuck there w/o knowing wat to do. Luckily, Eric's dad (he rushed down and even forgot to bring his false teeth out *touched*)came down to rescues us. Both father n son tried to explore wat went wrong while I doze off *haha*. Realised that the battery was flat and with the help of my dad (who guided them how to recharge the stupid lousy battery) we finally get to start the *damn* car!! Reached home @ 3am and I was so tried that I've to cancel the Malaysia trip with the girls on sun. But I am real glad that I can finally rest after a tedious day *phew*..

2. Never buy *bo* brand cosmetics

Bought this 'Hello Kitty' brand blusher recently and had used it for the whole of last week. Woke up yesterday and found out that there's 2 red patches on my cheeks and was itchy. Yucks!! Now I don't need to use blusher le, coz my face is already red w/o anyy make up on!! hmmp!! This really teach me a lesson.. Never judge a book by its cover.. Cute no use, must be good!! :p

Finally!! I'm up in Blogspot *Phew*.. As all of you know, I'm a sucker in PC therefore it took me quite awhile to start this damn tink.. Haha.. Anyway, guess having a blog is a trend now and under Hui's & Linda's influence, I'm going to write all my stories, complains, blah blah blah.. Hope that pple will be *interested* in wat I want to say.. Hmm.. Still trying to figure out how to make this blog as creative as wat Hui had done for hers.. Mine looked abit dull.. Haiz.. ~Help Help~ :p
