Opportunity doesn't always come knocking on your door.. U need to strike the iron while it's hot..

My boss once mentioned, if u wan sumtink open ur mouth and ask for it.. Things will not happen if u do notink but sit down there n wait.. I've always wanted to do sales and I raised my interest to her during my apprisal review.. Boss had her hesitation to move me to sales as I'm still a greenhorn in the industry.. In fact, she's looking for pple who can produce to bring in higher revenue for the Hotel.. In short, she rather get sumone experienced then wasting time to train me.. Was rather disappointed on her -ve remarks but I'm definately not giving up @ this point.. Had been working so hard for the past yr for the opportunity, I must prove to her that I hv the potential to produce good results..

To be a sales person, one has to be 'thick-skinned'.. Picked up my courage and asked her if I can follow the team for sales blitz and was so happy when she said yes!! Was really excited for my first blitz today.. Everything went well and I'm now even more certain that sales is my passion.. Ivy is definately not a desk bounded person man..

I will definately grab every chances given to me now.. Give me half a yr, I will convince you that I can do it!!
